Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) Process
Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) is a semiautomatic or automatic welding process in which a continuous consumable wire electrode and a shielding gas are fed through a welding torch. An electric arc transferred between the wire electrode and substrate melts the wire and forms a fully dense and metallurgically bonded weld overlay.
