Twin Wire Arc Spraying (TWAS) Coating Process

Twin Wire Arc Spraying (TWAS) is a process in which two electrically opposed charged metal wires are fed together to produce a controlled arc at their intersection. This forms molten metal which is atomized and propelled onto a metal substrate by jets of compressed air or gas to form a coating surface.
