When introduced in 2005, NanoSteel’s Guardian® HB was the first casing-friendly hardbanding material which also protected drill pipe tool joints. All other off-the-shelf hardbanding materials at this time were mutually exclusive, addressing one or the other of these needs but not both.
Proven on more than 1,000 miles of drill pipe, Guardian® HB remains a favorite high-performance workhorse among oil companies, drilling contractors and hardbanding applicators.
