Twin Wire Arc Spraying (TWAS)

NanoSteel cored wires for thermal spraying are patented steel alloys based on nanotechnology which form a coating microstructure with grain sizes refined to a nanoscale (1-100 nm).

The nanoscale coating microstructure provides a unique combination of high hardness and toughness properties, resulting in
• High corrosion, erosion and abrasion resistance
• Very high bond strength across a range of substrate materials
• Strength performance superior to conventional steel coatings
